I've been coming to Amorgos since I was a little girl, my yiayia still lives up in Lagada and my cousin has a bar/cafe call Amos by the beach.. it's been 8 years since I've been there, but I remember my summer vacations like it was yesterday. My father and sister are there now for Panagias and I am dreaming I am with them. Love it - love it- love it. I can't wait to bring my husband and 2 children next summer... Ya Sas

From Aigialis you can make different walks, but the walk to the north via Lagadha (excellent coffee) and then up to Aghia Theologios (500m)and further to Stavros (685m)and back the same path is one of the most beautiful walks we made on Amorgos. The colour of the sea and the colour of the rocks and bushes are splendid. From Ag. Theologios to Stavros you walk along the sea on a narrow path with steep slopes. It is only for experienced people with proper shoes and takes 8 hours. You need your own supplies of water and food (after Lagadha)
